A mistake on the restaurant bill, they brought us a less expensive bottle of wine. No apologies, no changes to the bill. Not a big difference on the price, but a huge one on the respect to the customers. We wont come back

This hotel doesn't look spectacular and the rooms are tired and small. We had room 1. However, it's run by a husband and wife team who are friendly and efficient. Alterations to the menu are a can-do experience. Their son is the chef. The food is amazing. Fabulous starters of scallops and prawns, perfectly cooked. Amazingly tender rump of lamb with veggies and tiramisu or sticky date pudding that was so light. Breakfast was ample. A French offering with breads, croissants, fresh OJ, tea, coffee, fresh fruits, home made configures. Just lovely. We won't be back sadly as we live too far away, but if we were local, we would be eating here at least fortnightly. Thank you for a lovely evening. 😍

don't order too much! Dishes are for those with a healthy appetite! We ordered different things and shared. Particularly liked the prunes with prune icecream, had that twice. Nice breakfast but pricey. I asked for some fruit and that was good. Our room was hot, but they gave us a fan when we asked. Very friendly service
